Background:

Did you know that you can choose how you want to age?

The human body is designed to remain pain-free, energetic, and healthy throughout its lifespan. In reality, we should never have to surrender helplessly to chronic pain, hip and knee replacements, loss of energy and mobility, poor posture, weight gain—regardless of our chronological years. Most of us are unaware that the process of aging is triggered by cell death.

Join Dr. Ritamarie and Miranda Esmonde-White as they discuss how you can slow down and reverse the speed in which your cells die—showing scientifically how anyone can stay feeling young and vibrant their entire life!

Miranda-closeupMiranda Esmonde-White is one of America’s greatest advocates and educators of healthy aging. She is best known for her PBS fitness show, Classical Stretch, which has been airing since 1999 and is rated the #1 fitness show on the network. Miranda created Essentrics—the technique which Classical Stretch is based on. She has filmed over 300 episodes of Classical Stretch workouts, most of them distributed worldwide on DVD. Following her career as a professional ballerina, Miranda developed Essentrics, becoming a flexibility trainer and consultant to numerous professional and Olympic athletes, celebrities, and other notable clients.

Miranda’s New York Times bestselling book, Aging Backwards, is revolutionizing the way we understand the role that fitness plays in slowing down the aging process by keeping our bodies young, attractive, strong, and healthy. Based in Montreal, Miranda spends her time developing the technique, writing, and training new instructors. She also travels extensively giving lectures, leading week-long teacher training sessions, and hosting fitness retreats.
