LEVEL 2: Functional Food & Nutrition Mastery
LEVEL 2: FUNCTIONAL FOOD & NUTRITION MASTERY
Become known for your ability to quickly get to the root cause and empower your clients and patients to achieve optimal health and vitality
Level 2 of the Nutritional Endocrinology Practitioner Training is all about food and functional nutrition. You’ll learn how to teach your clients to prepare meals that address their imbalances, how to guide them through an elimination diet to identify food sensitivities, and how to eat to support the various body systems. You’ll learn how to support your clients to eat in a way that reduces and eliminates chronic symptoms.
You’ll learn the details of all the important nutrients that have been found to be important in human metabolism—macro and micro. You’ll understand how these nutrients get absorbed, what they do, where they come from, how they interact and symptoms of excess and deficiency. You’ll understand how to guide your clients, how to detect deficiencies and excesses, contraindications to supplementation, best testing practices, how to correct imbalances, and so much more.
You’ll also learn about the various dietary principles and special diets, including the symptoms associated with inability to process certain chemical constituents, and ways to identify when a specific diet regime is appropriate or contraindicated for an individual client.
As a result of this module, you’ll feel confident in your ability to guide your clients through following these food plans if needed, including how long to stay on the restricted diet, and how to test foods after eliminating for an appropriate amount of time.
8 In-Depth Training Modules
Each module includes videos, audios, documents, checklists, and reading assignments. You’ll have access to practical, hands-on activities to reinforce the learning and sometimes a project or writing assignment.
